The Greenville PD received a report Monday of suspicious activity occurring two weeks ago at a local school bus stop.
Approximately two weeks ago a student was dropped off at a bus stop at the corner of Esma Street and Commerce Drive. While the student began walking home an unidentified person in a white truck began talking with the student. The truck followed the student as the student continued to walk home. The driver offered the student a ride, but once the student refused the vehicle left the area.
The next day, the person in the white truck contacted the same student with similar results. The suspect is only described as a male. The vehicle is a white truck with a lift and loud exhaust. The vehicle described has been seen in the area of the bus stop on multiple occasions in the past two weeks.
Anyone with information relating to this incident is encouraged to contact the Greenville Police Department at 903-457-2900 or Crime Stoppers at 903-457-2929.
