Greenville police have been receiving reports of crime called “Jugging” at local banks. “Jugging” is when a criminal sits in a vehicle and observes individuals go in and out of a bank. When someone is seen with, what appears to be a large amount of money, the criminal will follow the bank customer to their next location. When the money is left in the vehicle, the suspect will break into the vehicle and steal the money. Similar crimes have occurred outside other area banks.
