Greenville Woman Drowns In Flash Flooding In Garland

Floodwaters killed an East Texas woman Sunday morning when she attempted to drive across a bridge in North Garland but got caught in high water. First responders later found her car 300 yards downstream, and she was lifeless in a tree. She was identified Monday as 49-year-old Rita Jo Vinson of Greenville.
