“Griddy” Sanctioned By ERCOT

(TSN) A Houston-based company is the latest casualty of the Texas power grid disaster. ERCOT has shut down the wholesale electricity provider GRIDDY, and they switched the Texas customers to other companies. GRIDDY tweeted a letter to its members saying it was not a choice that they made. GRIDDY made headlines during the winter storms and immediately after focusing on too high utility bills for some customers.
