Groundbreaking On NE Texas Reservoir

Groundbreaking has been held Northeast of Bonham in Fannin County for the first reservoir in the region in 30 years. North Texas Municipal Lake will cover 16,641 acres and will store 120 billion gallons of water. The project will cost $1.6 billion, and the lake will be open and full within five years. The lake is expected to have a huge positive economic impact on the entire area.
