A Northeast Texas woman accused of paying an undercover police officer to kill her husband has pleaded guilty in Harrison County. The court sentenced 34-year-old Trisha Groot George, of Marshall, to five years in prison, although her husband had recommended that she receive probation. Prosecutors say she had a history of mental illness but was competent to enter into the plea bargain.
