Gun Found At Winnsboro High

Staff at Winnsboro High School learned Friday morning, February 7, that a student had a loaded firearm in their backpack. Winnsboro ISD Police Department has recovered the gun and detained the student. The matter is under investigation by the Winnsboro Police Department, which responded and assisted the school’s police. There is no active or ongoing threat on campus.

El personal de Winnsboro High School se enteró el viernes 7 de febrero por la mañana que un estudiante tenía un arma de fuego cargada en su mochila. El Departamento de Policía de Winnsboro ISD recuperó el arma y detuvo al estudiante.
