A coalition of Lamar County service groups, churches, community, and school leaders has developed a comprehensive plan to provide services during instances of severe winter weather. Warming stations will be activated, and communication lines will be open between organizations providing help. Daytime warming stations will be at Horizon House, CitySquare Paris, and the Salvation Army. There are overnight facilities opened at Lamar Avenue Church of Christ.
