Higgins And Aaron Parker Elementary Celebrate Grandparents Day

In celebration of Grandparents Day, Higgins Elementary and Aaron Parker Elementary opened their doors to welcome grandparents into classrooms for a heartwarming day of storytelling and reading. Students were treated to special moments as their grandparents shared personal stories from childhood and read aloud from favorite books.

The event created a bridge between generations, allowing students to learn about life in the past while fostering a love for reading. Many classrooms were filled with laughter as grandparents recounted tales of growing up in a world very different from today’s while students eagerly asked questions about what life was like when they were young.
