High School Baseball And Softball Plus Rangers Walloped By Angels

In area Baseball Tuesday night, the Paris Wildcats defeated NL 5-2. It was the 5th straight win for the Wildcats over The Panthers.

Chisum defeated Prairiland 13-3 and PJC took care of Murray State 20-8.

In softball, NL defeated Paris 5-1 behind the pitching of Reagan Richardson and Jaycie Hall. Richardson finished with 10 strikeouts in 4 innings while Hall had 5 K’s in 3 innings of work. The win also clinched another district title for the Pantherettes.

Prairiland beat Chisum 5-2

On Monday night the NL board of trustees approved the hiring of  Sarah Beth Upchurch as their new head volleyball coach. Upchurch graduated from Prairiland and has spent the last two seasons as the head coach at Rivercrest

In the final Game of the season, the Mavericks lose to Suns 124-97. Dirk Nowitzki announced before the game he will return for a 21st season.

And the Rangers fall 11-1 to the Angels. Those two teams will play the finale of their series tonight on 1490 AM and 96.3 FM KPLT – pregame at 6:30 with first pitch at 7:05.
