The NBA announced the details of its 2020-21 schedule on Tuesday. Included in that was the league’s board of governors approving the implementation of a playoff play-in tournament for one season. Under the new format, the No. 7 and 8 seeds in each conference will get two opportunities to win one game to earn a playoff spot. Meanwhile, the ninth and 10th teams in the standings will need to win two consecutive games to get a postseason berth.

The NBA draft is tonight, and the Dallas Mavericks hold the 18th overall pick.

As part of the season-long celebration of UIL 100 Years of Football, WR Raymond Berry (PHS class of 1950) has been nominated as one of the Top 100 players in the history of UIL Texas High School Football. The fan vote will determine the top 10 players of all time. Voting ends Sunday, November 22, at noon.
