In the NFL, the Dallas Cowboys are off to a 3-0 start of the season for the first time in 11 years, as they thumped the Miami Dolphins 31-6. Ezekiel Elliott had 125 yards rushing on the day. Dallas heads to New Orleans next Sunday night in a date with the Saints, meanwhile, the Houston Texans held off the LA Chargers 27-20 to go 2-1.
Over the weekend in college football, Texas beat OK State 36-30, Texas A&M fell to Auburn 28-20 and SMU beat TCU 41-38.
In the AP College football poll the top 9 stayed the same: Clemson is No. 1, Alabama No. 2, Georgia is No. 3, LSU is No. 4, Oklahoma is No. 5, Ohio State No. 6, Notre Dame is No. 7, Auburn No. 8, and Florida is at No. 9. Utah moved up one spot to No. 0. Texas Stayed at No. 2 and Texas A&M dropped to No. 17.
