The Paris Wildcats slip past Pleasant Grove 23-22. Pairiland defeats Queen City 14-7. Detroit beats Como-Pickton 28-14. The Cooper Bulldogs fall to Emory Rains 20-14. Clarksville loses to Linden Kildare 59-20.

Winnsboro wins over Quinlan Ford 28-12. Greenville drops their game to Crandall 29-7. Rains defeats Cooper 20-14. Commerce loses to Leonard 48-14. Brook Hill beats Mt. Vernon 27-14. And Detroit wins over Como-Pickton 28-14.
Yesterday afternoon the Texas Rangers were rocked by the Seattle Mariners 14-6. Rougned Odor hit his team leading 30th home run of the season in the Ranger defeat. Texas, with an 82-56 record, leads the AL West by 8.5 games over the Houston Astros. The Rangers and Mariners play game two of four tonight in Seattle. The Rangers hand the ball to Martin Perez. It was a busy weekend for the Dallas Cowboys. First the team cut the roster down to the final 53 players making the team. Dallas has elected to keep quarterback Tony Romo on the active roster for the time being in case Romo is able to return from a back injury earlier than initially expected. On Sunday the Cowboys signed free agent quarterback, Mark Sanchez, to be the backup for Dak Prescott when the season begins on Sunday against the New York Giants.
