The Paris Wildcats knocked off Melissa 54-49 as heard on 101.9 KBUS. Paris racked up 578 total yards, with 486 of them coming on the ground. Zeke Jackson had 149 yards on the ground with a touchdown, KD Washington added 129, and a score for París. Luke Hohenberger threw for 92 yards and two touchdowns. He also recovered an onside kick to seal the victory for Paris.
Paris will play for the Region 2 final this Saturday night against Argyle at McKinney ISD Stadium with the win. We will have the game for you on 101.9 KBUS beginning at 5:30 with the pregame.

The NFL is actively discussing creating local bubbles for the 14 or 16 teams that make the playoffs as COVID-19 cases rise around the United States, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero. The league’s plan reportedly would isolate all team personnel in hotels when not traveling for games and enforce strict rules on who would be permitted inside to interact with players and coaches. They have not made a final decision.
