High School Volleyball Playoffs and HS Football Tonight In Today’s Sports Update

Last night Detroit beat Rivercrest in three sets to finish second in the district. Kyira Scott finished with 20 assists while Daysha Stature had ten kills for the Lady Eagles. They will play North Hopkins Saturday at 1:00 pm in Sulphur Bluff.

North Lamar will be in Mt Vernon Thursday night against Lindale. The game time is at 6:00 pm and is on Mix 107.7.

Paris High will travel to Wills Point for a 7:00 pm game with Bullard. At the same time, Prairiland plays Pottsboro at the Princeton auxiliary gym at 7:30.

Tonight we have Wednesday night high school football. On 101.9 KBUS, the Rivercrest Rebels will be hosting the Honey Grove Warriors at 7:30. Pregame with Steven Johnston and myself begins at 7:00 pm. Also, in action tonight, the Cooper Bulldogs will host Wolfe City. On Friday night, the North Lamar Panthers will host Gilmer on Mix 107.7. Pregame with Adam Routon and myself begins at 7:00 pm.

The Dallas Cowboys traded defensive end Everson Griffen, to the Detroit Lions in exchange for a conditional draft pick, the Cowboys confirmed Tuesday.
