Paris – The playoff picture is starting to shape up for Red River Valley volleyball. The Chisum Lady Mustangs are coming off a big win over Chapel Hill on Friday. Tonight is Senior Night at Mustang Gym where Chisum will host unbeaten Mt. Vernon. A Chisum win would help the 4-1 Prairiland Lady Patriots. They’ll visit Chapel Hill tonight. The North Lamar Pantherette’s are 5-0 and will be in Pittsburg to begin round two of district play. The Paris Lady Cats look to keep pace with the districts top teams as they host Atlanta at Wildcat gym and the Detroit Lady Eagles will visit the Clarksville Lady Tigers.

They’ll visit the Chisum Lady Mustangs tonight. The Chapel Hill Lady Devils are in position for the post season. They host Prairiland this evening. Pittsburg welcome in North Lamar. Rivercrest is at Simms Bowie and Paul Pewitt is on the road against New Boston. The Mt. Pleasant Lady Tigers are off this evening.
Sulphur Springs – The Playoff picture is starting to shape up for area volleyball teams. The Mt. Vernon Lady Tigers are unbeaten and look to hold on to the top spot in district 13-3A. They’ll visit the Chisum Lady Mustangs tonight. The Sulphur Springs Lady Cats look to keep pace for a district 16-5A crown as they travel up I-30 to face the Greenville Lady Lions. North Hopkins and Cumby play a rivalry game at North Hopkins high school. Miller Grove looks to stay perfect against Fruitvale and Emory Rains is 5-0 and face off with Brownsboro.
Last night in the American League Division Series, the Cleveland Indians eliminate the Boston Red Sox in a three game sweep. Cleveland won game three 4-3 and advance to take on the Toronto Blue Jays in the AL Championship Series. In the National League, The San Francisco Giants down the Chicago Cubs in 13 6-5. The Cubs still lead that series 2-1 and the Washington Nationals go up 2 games to 1 over the LA Dodgers after an 8-3 game 3 win.
