Historic Church Near Leonard Burns down

Another Fannin County church burned to the ground Saturday night. The Grove Hill United Methodist Church, just outside of Leonard has been a staple in Fannin County for over a century. This is the second church fire in Fannin County in a week. The Marvin United Methodist Church, outside of Whitewright, was destroyed last Saturday. That state fire marshal and Fannin County investigators are investigating the cause of the fires.
