Historic West Central Texas Courthouse Destroyed By Arson

Authorities arrested an unidentified arson suspect after a historic Texas courthouse burned down Friday night. Mason County Judge Jerry Beardan says the 111-year-old courthouse appears to be a total loss. The building was about to undergo some renovations, so they had removed all of the county records and documents. The judge says fire investigators suspect arson in this fire and another around the same time at a house about a mile away.
