Hitman In Rowlett Murder-For-Hire Plot Sentenced To Life In Prison

A second North Texas man has been sentenced to life without parole for the murder-for-hire of a Rowlett woman. The jury deliberated about 45 minutes before finding Jesus Trevino guilty of capital murder. He was the man who shot 37-year old Laura Grillo in November of 2015. Investigators say Trevino was hired by Grillo’s fiance, John Makris who wanted out of the relationship. Makris was previously sentenced to life without parole.
