Christmas at the Maxey House is this Saturday from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm at Sam Bell Maxey House State Historic Site 812 South Church Street in Paris. Visitors will learn about past Christmas traditions from the late 1800s and see how today’s Christmas is both different and similar to a Victorian family’s Christmas. The price is $4.00 for adult. $3.00 for children 6-18. Free for children five and under.

The Deport Volunteer Fire Department is having a Deport Christmas Parade this Saturday at 2:00 pm. There are no entry fees, and everyone is invited to participate or be a spectator.
