Holloman Arrested For Aggravated Sexual Assault

Mt Pleasant Police arrested Travion Markeith Holloman, 17, of Mount Pleasant, after Police Criminal Investigations Detectives charged him with Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child.

Police are accusing Holloman having several sexual encounters with a 12-year-old victim at a family friend’s residence in Mount Pleasant.  Mount Pleasant Police received information from the victim’s mother after she discovered evidence related to a possible crime occurring at her home.

With the assistance of the Longview Martin House Child Advocacy Center, the child was interviewed, disclosing information related to a criminal offense.  Investigators located Holloman Tuesday and interviewed him.  After the interview, police placed Holloman under arrest and transported Holloman to the Titus County Jail.  His bail is $50,000.
