Homes Saved in Blossom Pasture Fire

Firefighters  from Faught, East Post Oak, Blossom, Pattonville and Reno responded to a large pasture fire Monday afternoon CR 44800 in Blossom. The Texas Forest Service assisted with a bulldozer in battling the 35 acre blaze and two homes on the property were saved. The fire was so close to one home, that the siding started to melt.  There were no injuries.
