Hopkins County Commissioners will issue a proclamation designating Saturday, October 2 as Hopkins County Beef Day. In recognition of the NETBIO Cattleman’s Ribeye Steak Roundup presented by Texas Heritage National Bank, it features a steak cook-off with over 40 cooking teams in the restaurant and open competition. Activities will go on all day – and serving begins at 6:00 pm.
