Fountain

Deputies arrested a man from Mt Vernon in Sulphur Springs after receiving a notification from Delta County about an alleged reckless driver. Deputies arrested 69-year-old LG Fountain for DWI. A records check showed he had at least three other DWI convictions, and the charge was filed as a felony.

Hamilton

Officials arrested 27-year-old Edward Frank Hamilton on a warrant for violation of parole. He’s being held without bond in the Hopkins County Jail.

Small

Deputies arrested 39-year-old Mario Tremaine Small on drug warrants from Delta County and Sherman. He’s accused of Bond Forfeiture and Failure to Appear.

Sandoval

Deputies arrested 26-year-old Miguel Isaias Sandoval on multiple charges Sunday. He’s accused on a warrant for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and several traffic warrants. Bond was set at $50,000 on the assault charge and he is being held in the Hopkins County Jail.

Morris

An investigation by SCU and CPS resulted in the arrest of a Sulphur Springs man. The investigation showed that 29-year-old Herman Lee Morris Jr. and a one-year-old child tested positive for methamphetamine. Morris was charged with endangering a child and is being held on $20,000 bond in the Hopkins County Jail.
