Sulphur Springs Police arrested 23-year-old Chasen Lane Beaver on a charge of second-degree sexual assault of a child. The alleged victim was a 16-year-old girl. Beaver was released Thursday after posting bond.

Hopkins County Deputies arrested 22-year-old Harleah Irene Petrea of Sulphur Springs was arrested by Hopkins County deputies on a charge of credit or debit card abuse. They also charged her with a misdemeanor traffic violation, and she remained in the Hopkins County Jail as of Thursday evening.
