Hopkins County Bookings

A traffic stop by Hopkins County deputies for an expired registration led to the arrest of two Wills Point men on narcotics charges and outstanding warrants. Thirty-four–year-old Christopher Allen Williams and 36-year-old Kevin Charles Jones were each charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Hunt County warrants. Jones was charged with violation of probation and Williams with violating parole.

Delta County deputies arrested 26-year-old Justen Blake Saffel at his Pecan Gap residence. HE was transferred  to Hopkins County deputies for violation of the probation he was on for arson, bond forfeiture for illegal dumping and three traffic violations.

Nineteen-year-old Chad Owen Dean of Commerce was arrested by Hopkins County deputies on a warrant for bond revocation on a narcotics charge. His new bond was set at $75,000.

Twenty-four-year-old Makayla Shianne Haut of Mt. Vernon was arrested in Sulphur Springs on an outstanding Wood County warrant. Bond was set at $10,000 on a forgery charge.

Thirty-year-old Chelsea Renee Higginbotham of Pittsburg was arrested by Hopkins County deputies on a Franklin County warrant for Violation of the Probation she was on for felony assault of a family or household member with a previous conviction. No bond amount was set.
