Michael Tareez Evans

Two inmates in the Hopkins County Jail now face additional charges. Last July, deputies arrested 31-year-old Michael Tareze Evans of Mt. Pleasant for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Recently they served him with a federal probation violation and warrants for two counts of violating bond or protective orders. In addition, inmate Michael Shane McCormick, who had been in jail since January for burglary and other felony charges, was served with three new warrants for punching jailers.

Juan Ivan Valles

A Hopkins County Sheriff’s Investigator arrested Juan Ivan Valles on a First-Degree Felony warrant for continuous sexual abuse of a child charge. His bond is $200,000.

Dwayne Anthony Wright

Deputies arrested 40-year-old Dwayne Anthony Wright of Cooper on a warrant for Bail Jumping and Failure to Appear. They did not set a bond for the third-degree felony charge.
