State Troopers stopped a vehicle at the 120-mile marker of I-30 in Hopkins County for tailgating and having an expired registration. A search of the vehicle driven by Micheal Edward White of Dallas turned up contraband that included 92 grams of methamphetamine, 17 grams of cocaine, numerous pills, marijuana, unknown substances, and a handgun. His bonds at this time total $92,000, and they impounded his vehicle.

Officers arrested a Sulphur Springs man and woman after stopping them on I-30 for a defective light. A K-9 alerted their vehicle, and a search turned up a substance identified as methamphetamine. Officers arrested 53-year-old Brian Everett Gumpert and 50-year-old Dana Janeen Brantley for Possession of a Controlled Substance and released them on bond. mugshot not available
