A 26-year-old man was taken into custody in Hopkins County Wednesday on multiple charges involving violence. Officials booked 26-year-old Jimmy Lapaul Anderson on Rockwall County charges of Aggravated Kidnapping, two counts of Aggravated Robbery and one count of Obstruction and Retaliation.
A 20-year-old Arkansas man was arrested in Hopkins County Wednesday for possession of more than five but less than 50 pounds of marijuana. Mazeke Adrian Carruth is awaiting arraignment and bond has not yet been set.
