Hopkins County Clerk Not Seeking Re-Election

Longtime Hopkins County Clerk Debbie Shirley has announced that she will not seek another term and will retire in December of 2018. Shirley has served Hopkins County for 44 years. Meanwhile, Deputy Clerk Tracy Orr Smith has announced she will seek the GOP nomination for the clerk’s post in the March 6 Primary.
