Hopkins County Commissioners Approve Tax Rate, Pay Raise

The Hopkins County Commissioners Court approved this year’s budget at Monday’s meeting and a 62-cent tax rate. All full-time county employees will get a 5% cost of living raise, and elected officials will get an additional $75 a year longevity pay.
