Hopkins County Commissioners Court

Hopkins County commissioners approved a ten-year tax break for My Perfect Pet. The county will reimburse a total of 55 percent of its taxes over ten years. The San Diego-based company expects to provide 30 new jobs.

D6 Inc., of Portland, OR, purchased the old Coca-Cola building and planned to manufacture aluminum pie pans and Danish trays, hiring 30 employees. The company plans another expansion providing nearly 90 jobs. The commissioners approved a request for a 381 agreement for the construction of a new building on site.
