Hopkins County Commissioners To Construct Community Safe Room

The Hopkins County Commissioners Court voted to contract with DRG Architects to construct a community safe room. The facility could serve as a tornado shelter, a place for people without electricity or heat to go during extreme cold, or a place for mass distributions, such as shots or food. It could also serve as a command center.
