Hopkins County-Sulphur Springs Emergency Management on Wednesday reported 42 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the cumulative totals to 583 positives and 414 recoveries. There were no recent recoveries Wednesday. There are currently 169 active cases. At the latest report, the Sulphur Springs facility tested 1,676 at 128-A Jefferson Street.
