Hopkins County-Sulphur Springs Emergency Management on Thursday reported ten new cases of COVID-19 and five recent recoveries. There have now been a total of 409 positive tests of the virus and 319 recoveries. There are 90 active cases in Hopkins County and eight patients in the COVID Unit at Christus Mother Frances in Sulphur Springs. The state DSHS dashboard now shows 15 fatalities of the disease in Hopkins County.
