Hopkins County Coronavirus Update

Texas Department of Health Services reports that two of the deaths reported in Hopkins County on October 6 occurred at Carriage House Manor Nursing Home in Sulphur Springs. That brought the total of fatalities in the county to 23. Meanwhile, there were no new positive cases or recoveries of COVID-19 in Hopkins County at the latest report. There are currently 127 active cases and 11 patients in the Covid unit at the hospital. They performed 1,606 COVID tests at the testing center in Sulphur Springs.
