The Texas Department of State Health Services is reporting one death in Hopkins County from COVID 19. The Hopkins County Health Authority is challenging that finding, and claims the patient had other medical conditions and died of unrelated causes. Hopkins County Emergency Management announced 5 more COVID 19 cases over the weekend, bringing the total number of positive cases to 48. There are 20 recoveries, making the total number of active cases, 28.
