Hopkins County Deputies Arrest Couple

Hopkins County deputies attempting to serve a probation violation warrant arrested two people on CR 2308. 53 year old Scott Arthur Gorton was located working on a car and was served with the warrant, and also charged with possession of methamphetamine and a Sulphur Springs traffic warrant. 50 year old Jana Lee Kirtley was charged with hindering Gorton’s apprehension, tampering with evidence, possession of a controlled substance and resisting arrest. Both remain in the Hopkins County jail.
