Hopkins County Deputies Make Money Laundering Arrest

Hopkins County Deputies stopped a Garland man Thursday, became suspicious because of his behavior, and noticed some $50 bills sticking out of a fanny pack in the front seat. A search turned up $8,500 in cash, and they arrested 30-year-old Pedro Garcia-Alarcon for Money Laundering. They also found messages related to human traffic on the suspect’s phone, and the investigation continued.
