Hopkins County Fire

The Hopkins County fire Marshal is investigating the cause of a fire that heavily damaged a home, barn,  RV and a part of a pasture in the area of CR2399.  All Hopkins County departments responded to the blaze and Winnsboro firefighters provided mutual aid.  Trustees from the Hopkins County jail also assisted. The Red Cross provided assistance to the residents and rehab to the firefighters. A sheriff’s office drone was also used to track the direction of the grass fire.
