Hopkins County Firefighters Battle Weekend Wildfires

Firefighters in Hopkins County were kept busy over the weekend as about a dozen pasture and hay fires broke out Saturday and Sunday in the southern part of the county. There is no burn ban in effect, but those planning open burns should contact Hopkins County sheriff’s office dispatchers and the county fire department to notify them before burning.
