Hopkins County Deputies stopped a 20-year-old local man for speeding and not wearing his seatbelt and became suspicious when they smelled marijuana inside the vehicle. During questioning, Cason Wayne Blevins turned over three marijuana cigarettes and a vial of marijuana, and officers arrested him. During booking, they found a packet containing THC on his person and added a charge of a prohibited substance in a correctional facility, a third-degree felony.
