Hopkins County Law Enforcement CenterHopkins County had convicted 36-year-old Jacob Thompson of Cattle Rustling. Now, Sallisaw, Oklahoma, officials have arrested Thompson for violating his parole for stealing livestock valued at more than $100,000 but less than $200,000. He had allegedly tried to use bad checks totaling more than $300,000 to purchase 400 head of cattle from the Sulphur Springs Livestock Auction.
Hopkins County Deputies arrested a Cumby man in Commerce on a Hopkins County warrant for Invasive Visual Recording. They transported 17-year-old Xavier James Black back to the Hopkins County Jail, where his bond is $100,000.
Officials arrested 32-year-old Corey Gene Edwards of Como in Sulphur Springs for allegedly punching his 13-year-old son in the head with a closed fist at a Broadway Street motel in Sulphur Springs. They charged him with Injury to a Child and several misdemeanors. They released no other information.
Deputies arrested Chance Parker Wilson for violating his Probation for Assault of a family or household member by Impeding Breath of Circulation.
