Cumby Police arrested Sergio Raul Espinoza of Dallas after stopping him for a defective headlight at the Eastbound 114-mile marker on I-30. Espinoza attempted to flee in his vehicle, turned around at the 116-mile marker, and they took him into custody after spiking his tires. His warrants included Evading Arrest in a Vehicle, an on-site charge of evading, and Violation of His Probation or Burglary of a Habitation.
Hopkins County arrested 24-year-old Adriana Nicole Burleson as a passenger in a vehicle stopped on Helm Lane in Sulphur Springs for having an expired registration and defective tail light. Further investigation turned up suspected methamphetamine, and they arrested her for Possession of a Controlled Substance. They arrested the driver for a misdemeanor.
Sulphur Springs Police arrested 39-year-old Steven Lee Ostrander II of Palestine over the weekend on a warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance. During the arrest on the warrant, Ostrander had possession of between four and 200 grams of a Controlled Substance, a second-degree felony.
