A 17-year-old Sulphur Springs High School student was arrested Sunday night by Hopkins County Deputies for allegedly making a threat against the school on social media on Friday. They booked Lucinda Beck Smith into the Hopkins County Jail for Terroristic Threat Causing Fear of Serious Bodily Injury, a third-degree felony. They also charged her with Possession of a Controlled Substance because of the contents of a vape pen seized from Smith during booking.
Deputies arrested Patrick Wills over the weekend for Possession of more than four but less than 200 grams of a Controlled Substance and Felony DWI. The report states that he was in the Hopkins County Jail.
