Hopkins County arrested 23-year-old Eduardo Austin Delgado-Torres on five warrants for violating the probation for narcotics convictions. His bonds total $475,000, and he remains in jail.

Charles Orin Lee Nash

A court sentenced one of the two men charged in the Love’s Truck Stop armed robbery in Sulphur Springs to 20 years in prison. Charles Orin Lee Nash, 18 years old, had gone inside the truckstop brandishing a gun and took 35 cartons of cigarettes. His co-defendant, Cass Sullivan, was the getaway driver. He received deferred adjudication probation.

A high-speed pursuit that began on I-30 and ended on Hwy 11 resulted in the arrest of 38-year-old Joshua Lamar Rigsby of Wylie. Officers arrested Rigsby for Evading Arrest with a Vehicle, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle, and Felony Criminal Mischief with bonds totaling $120,000. In addition, they charged him on six felony warrants out of Texarkana, and the judge denied bond on those charges. Mugshot not available

Hopkins County Deputies worked a disturbance and found a man lying on the ground with apparent stab wounds to his stomach and chest area. One deputy performed first-aid while the others searched for the suspect. They located Roman Rubio-Montero and arrested him for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
