Hopkins County Junior Livestock Show Underway

The Hopkins County Junior Livestock Show and Sale begins today, with the weights of the lambs and goat due between 2 and 3pm. Poultry, swine and heifer projects are due tomorrow. The buyers stew lunch will be at noon on Saturday and the Sale of Champions begins at 1pm. This year, four $1500 Larry Spradlin College Memorial Scholarships will be presented to some deserving county seniors who participated in 4H and FFA activities. The STAR 95-9 “ Get Up and Go Show” will be broadcasting live from the show tomorrow between 11 and 3.
