Hopkins County Man Guilty Of Aggravated Sexual Assault Of Child

Ricky Lynn Hunt, 39, has pleaded guilty in Eighth District Court in Sulphur Springs to Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child. He was sentenced to 30 years in prison with aggravated parole rules. The victim was a seven-year-old girl. Hunt had no significant criminal history, but some prior arrests for unlawfully carrying a weapon and violating a protective order. The case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Clay Harrison. Sulphur Springs attorney Clay Johnson represented Hunt.
