Hopkins County Man Jailed After Disturbance

A 59-year-old Hopkins County man has been arrested by deputies who were called to CR 2335 to investigate a disturbance. Jimmy De Odell was taken into custody after a search of his home turned up nearly five grams of methamphetamine. He was charged with a second-degree felony drug charge as well as simple assault. His bond was set at $25,000 on the drug charge.
