Hopkins County Murder Trial Begins

Aaron Tyler Crum

Jury selection is slated to begin today in District Court in Hopkins County for the murder trial of 26-year-old Aaron Tyler Crum, of Sulphur Springs. He’s accused in the fatal shooting last February of 38-year-old Joshua Paul Cowling following an altercation during a party on Pampa Street. The case will be prosecuted by DA Will Ramsay and ADA Clay Harrison. Sulphur Springs Attorney Martin Braddy is representing Crum.
